Filtering a column, using selected cells from another column that match

Dear all

Firstly sorry for posting this if it has already been asked/answered somewhere on here before (I suspect it's a very basic skill), I'll cry ignorance and hide behind my newb status.

I've took a look at advanced filter options but had no success, probably cos I haven't a clue what I'm doing.

I've attached an example of what I'm trying to do.

The 1st sheet is a list of patients who have visited the ER. The 2nd sheet is a list of those patients who have visited the ER more than 10 times.

The real spreadsheet has 30000+ patient IDs in the 1st sheet (plus other columns) and in the 2nd there are around 800+ patient IDs.

Is there a way to filter column A of the 1st sheet by going to the other sheet and selecting the long list of patient IDs with numerous visits to ER?

Sorry if this is clear as mud.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

not sure why you are doing it this way
also i don't know if advanced filter has limitations on how many filters it can have

why dont you just have a column on 1st Sheet to find if patient id exists on the 2nd?

i also added the 2nd column (10+) in which you can autofilter with instead
