So a particular cell in that first range may occur in any of the other 25 ranges on that sheet, as well as in 26 ranges on 9 other sheets, and if so you want to highlight that cell?

It would help us to try to arrive at a possible solution if you attached a sample workbook - the FAQ describes how to.

Lets say a company can appear in any cell within the ranges across the 10 sheets. Each range is a reference to a week and each sheet is a reference to a staff member. What i am trying to acheive is if any staff member duplicates the name of a company within the ranges excel highlights it as a duplication.

Exclamation Re: Highlighting duplicate values in multiple ranges across multiple sheets

    Tracker.xlsx

    Hi Pete,

Apologies for the delay had to get my laptop repaired.

    Please find the document attached.

The duplicate values would be in the company name header and the duplicates could occur anywhere within the ranges in all the sheets. If I enter a value in any of the ranges listed it would highlight in any of the ranges across the sheets.
To be fair I think the list of ranges above would reflect one big range. So lets just call it big range just for this purpose. If a duplicate occurs in players 1 to 10's big range it would conditional format the value to make the player aware that some one has already called that company previously.

    Thanks for your support
