Conditional Format - if date appears in a column

    Hi,

I need some help with a conditional formatting problem.

I have a project plan and I would like to grey out the cells if the date matches the dates on the sheet “Blocked Dates” in column H.

I already have conditional formatting in the cells but this new rule will take priority.

    How do I do this?

The formatting would be in cells CH12:EZ12

I've created a named range (BlockedDates) and referred to that with the conditional formatting formula.

If you mean with "take priority" the rule needs to "overrule" all other conditional formatting than tick the box "stop if true" at the end of the conditional format line in the dialog box. In all other cases the rules mentioned below this one will run as well and undo the conditional formatting of this rule if their conditions are met.
