Create Custom Shapes

Hi,

is it possible to create custom shapes in excel and also resize the shape based on the value of cells.

For example assume i want to create a shape like an oval, and we assume it is not a shape available in excel.

Then firstly is it possible to create such a shape and secondly if i specify its length and width in cells will it be able to resize accordingly

yes it is possible to create custom shapes in excel.
1. go to the insert ribbon
2. select shapes
3.under lines there is a shape called freeform. This allows you to draw whatever you want.

I don't have an answer for you yet on your second question

you probably could assign a macro that would resize the shape for you depending on a cell value.
