I am using Office 2007.
One particular file is getting hang in every step, while editing.
The original file was with so many worksheets, It was only this page which was slow responsive. I have deleted all other pages. But now, with every entry I have to wait for few minutes to get it responsive.
What may cause the issue?
No macro is enabled.
Try changing the Calculation to manual.
Go to FORMULA tab and change it.
After editing you change back to Automatic
Could be that you have copied one or more formulae down to the bottom of the column(s). Or, you might have formulae that use full column references. For example, =SUMPRODUCT((A:A="x")*(B:B="y")*(C:C)). Or, could be that you have extensive Conditional Formatting.
Or the used range might include lots of "blank" rows/columns/cells.
Difficult to know without seeing the workbook.
