Hi, thanks if you're reading this post. I've looked through the forum, and found a few different helpful suggestions, but nothing that is close to what I'd like to achieve, so I'm putting this thread up.
I have a list of the 10,000 most commonly used French words. I'd like to learn them all. I've seen a maths site, where they ask you 50 maths questions (different each time). It then gives you a mark out of 50, and you can try again.
What I'd like is to be asked 50 random questions (e.g. this is a french word "les bougies", and then I would have to type in the correct answer "candles"), with a score at the end of it.
I've seen in Excel you can generate 50 random questions, but each type you type in an answer, the questions being asked all change.
My dream scenario would be a way where it kept asking me questions I had previously got wrong, out of the 10,000, focussing on them, whilst ones I had consistently got right, it rarely asked for.
Ideally there would be a logged score, and as I did the random test day after day, should hopefully see that score improving.
Is any of this possible with Excel? I've tried downloading quiz generators, but not had much success with them so far either.
I find I learn best and most quickly from rote tests in this style, my maths improved hugely by doing quizzes shaped exactly like this on the WorldMathsDay site, as it was.
Any thoughts or pointers appreciated - thank you!
