I am running excel 2010, I have used excel for years but I only know enough about it to be dangerous. Ever since I started using spreadsheets I have been able to insert the current date with the ctrl +: (semi colon key). Now I get no response from that action. Can someone help this old Sailor?

I'm running 2010 and the key combination still works for me. Maybe you need to Repair your Office 2010
