Runtime error 1004- how to fix this?

Hi,

Please can someone fix some errors with my workbook that is used for recording assessment data for a primary school.

When I load it up the following message is displayed:

"One or more links could not be updated"

Also when I click on "Learner Report" and select a pupil from cell C5 i get a message saying "Run-time error 1004".

Please can someone help to fix this?

Hi again Kevin!

The problem was in the "Pastoral" worksheet - it contained many links to pupil names contained in another copy of the workbook.

By deleting all of the rows (on that worksheet) OTHER THAN the row for Julia Bloggs, the problem disappears. The difficulty was that the line:

Please Login or Register  to view this content.

in the "PopulateLearnerReportSheet" was trying to find the row that contained the name Bloggs, Julia on the "Pastoral" worksheet, but couldn't - hence the error message.

The attached version of your workbook seems to work correctly.

Hi Kevin,

The attached version might be more useful to you - instead of deleting the rows on the "Pastoral" worksheet I just corrected the formulas to that they now point to the "Add or Remove Pupil" worksheet in the current workbook, so you should now be able to paste the pupil names back into the "Add or Remove Pupils" worksheet and everything else should update accordingly.
