    Format Dates

Hi Can't get round this one!

I have a column of dates which represent when a specific certificate needs renewed, usually 3 years down the line, other than add another column to add on the 3years and compare it with today(), is there a way to create a conditional format that looks at the dates in the column and compares it plus 3years to today()?

Thanks in anticipation of a solution to all the genies out there.

Perhaps using something like that in CF rules

How can you use Conditional Formating.

--In Excel 2007 and 2010, Conditional Formatting is in the Styles group on the Home tab. In Excel 2003, Conditional Formatting is on the Format menu. See here how you can work using CF.

    Hi Fortis 1991

Tried your formula above, created a list of dates 3 years before today crossing in to less than 3 years today, highlighted the list CF then formula entered but it did not work (List is in (A1 to A10), can't see how this formula is looking at the dates and comparing it to that date plus 3 years!
