I have looked back to try and find the answer to this on previous forum posts and found something similar where it was trying to make advanced filter return exact match only on the figure in a cell. The formula used in that instance was: ="=number"

What I want to do is have the advanced filter match exactly the name in a cell reference. So I tried to replicate the above formula with: ="=sheetO8!" (where I wanted the filter to match EXACTLY the contents of cell O8 on a sheet named SHEET) but it returned no data. Can this formula be made to work? Can I use a formula like this to make advanced filter only return exact matches to a cell reference?
