I'm having a problem regarding compensation days.
I have 2 excel sheets (sheet 1 ans sheet 2) in the same excel file. In sheet 1, I have the number of each employee, the date of the extraordinary work, the nš compensation days and the number of hours (in the cases that the compensation doesn't achieve a day).
In sheet 2, I have again the nš of each employee, the date of the extraordinary work, as well as the hour, minutes and days (which is the transformation of the hours and minutes into days) to compensate. Then I have a last column where I have the information about hte day off, that gives the day the employee choose to have (in some cases the cell is blank, because the employee didn't take the day off).
I would like to have in sheet 1 the day off, and the days and hours still left for each employee. For the day off I did a formula with if and vlookup's, but if you find a better and faster way please let know.
For the days and hours left, I would like to obtain them from the difference of the column "day off" in sheet 2 and the columns "compensation days" and "compensation hours" from sheet 1, because the employee can take 1 hour off but still has more to take off.
How can I do this?
