    Joining 3 columns in a list

    Hello!
    I need help to convert 3 columns in a list in a 4th column

    Let me explain:
    I have 3 columns A, B, C
    I want to join them back in a list so column D would have the content of the 3 columns D1=A1 D2=B1 D3=C1 D4=A2 D5=B2 and so on

    is this possible?

    thanks

    Hi, and welcome to the forum.

    One way, in D1 copied down

    Formula: copy to clipboard
    =OFFSET($A$1,INT(ROW()/3-0.1),MOD(ROW()-1,3))

    Hi

    Did you copy the formula straight from this forum and immediately paste it to D1?
    If so please upload the workbook you are using with the formula you have entered. I see no reason it won't work given the details you've supplied. What is in A1, B1 & C1?

    It is a simple text data
    I copied straight from the forum.
    I have put a " before the formula to show you beacause excel would not allow me to save with the popup opened

    thanks

    Hi,

    Strange, it worked for me immediately I removed the "
    See attached

    What is your computers Regional setting for the List delimiter symbol? Do you use ; or ,
    The file I've attached uses , as the element separator in the formula. What does it show when you open it up? If you use ; and it still shows , then change the , to ;

    Hi,

    Purely out of interest was the List delimiter symbol the problem?
