    Copying duplicate rows

    Hello everyone,

    i hope someone can help me out; i put the question in the excelsheet, but here a summary;

    With vlookup i gathered some results from other worksheets.
    There is a column called "Firm" with a standard value "3000"

    Now i need to do the following; for every row i found results (the formula in the upper row will be copied down every time) i need a duplicate of that record with only one modification; the value "3000" has to be replaced in the duplicates with 3005, 3010 and 3010

    Please please help me!!! Thank you all in advance!!

    Re: Copying duplicate rows

    Does the attached help. It doesn't need a macro although you could encapsulate these steps in a macro
    Note the small change to the A2 formula and the addition of columns E:G on the Upload file and the formula in I2 of the ME01 sheet

    1. Put the number of current rows in I1. In this example 4, in your real data maybe 3000
    2. Copy the current block A2:I5 down to the next blank row. In this example A6, in your real data 3002
    3. Repeat step 3 another two times.
