I want to use convert function to change one unit to another, but instead of writing the units in the formula I need the units to be referenced from the sheet I am working on.
good example is =CONVERT(A1,"A2","A3"). But I am not sure what is the correct synthetics
any suggestions?

It's simply =CONVERT(A1,A2,A3) with, for example, 3 in A1, gal in A2 and oz in A3.
