I have created a spreadsheet used to schedule a television channel. The spreadsheet contains 8 pages, one for each day of the week and one for the current programming database. Since the weekday sheets contain vlookup, etc. links to the database sheet and the sheet column width and spacing is critical, I need to keep these sheets protected. I have one column on each weekday sheet that I have unlocked for programming entry. The issue is, I need to be able to insert a cell (shift cells down), but cannot do so on a protected sheet even though this column is unlocked. Since people very unfamiliar with Excel will be using this, I do not want them to unprotect and protect in order to insert. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
