Cant unhide hidden tabs

    Cant unhide hidden tabs

    Hi folks,

    I've been given a protected excel sheet to update some of the underlying data. The author has left the company and I had no option but to crack the password. It is essentially an interface which provides the user options to choose from a vlookup that refers a hidden tab. This hidden tab contains the info which now needs updating. however, I cant seem to unhide this hidden tab. The formula in the interface tab clearly shows the path to this hidden tab but I cant workout how to unhide this tab. In the VB window, the worksheet properties has visibility of the tab as "0 - xlSheetHidden" and it wont let me change it to visible.

    Any solutions guys?

    That suggests the workbook is protected, and the forum rules don't allow us to help you break Excel's modest security.

    Hi,

    If you can't click the sheet Visible protection property drop down and change the property to visible it means protection has been set for the VBE.
    Go to Tools VBA Project Properties and unlock the VBE - you will need the password if it's been set.
