I have excel 2007, and I am unable to use special paste. It still doesn't work when I close all internet browsers, and I don't have skype on my computer, so I don't think it's a add-on issue. I am trying to copy and paste (including formatting) from one excel spreadsheet to another. I have repaired excel, entered excel safe mode, and in excel options, "show paste options" is checked.
What am I doing wrong????

I only get the dialogue that you show when copying from a text source like the web and then using Paste special in Excel. Can't you just paste using the options offered under paste other than using paste special?

OMG - you're right. That IS working. Ugh, I didn't try that after repairs or restarting, not sure what it was, but it IS working now. Thank-you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
