Hi,
In Excel 2013, Should the "Trace Precedents" and "Trace Dependents" disappear after hitting save?
Should these helpful blue arrows disappear when you save the workbook?
Thanks

It's the same in 2010 and appears to be by design. You can get round it with a macro - see here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/o...9ebaff0?auth=1

I recently started a new job so am a bit busy and may not reply quickly. Sorry - it's not personal - I will reply eventually.
If your problem is solved, please go to 'Thread Tools' above your first post and 'Mark this Thread as Solved'.
If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
You don't need to give me rep if I helped, but a thank-you is nice.
Thanks a lot. Good to know! (although this time I won't be able to send the file as XLSM). I wonder why.. such arrows can be so helpful. Weird.![]()
You're welcome - and thanks for the rep.
