Counting the various name in the one column of excel and writing the related number

Hi friends,

I have a large excel file containing the various name in the one column, which some names may exist several times. Please take a look at the attached file as a small example. I was wondering if there is any way to count different name and generate a output like this:

Citrus sinensis 8
Vitis vinifera 3
so on,
