    Post Excel General

    Hi i need to find the month in top row, from the amount equals to the current value. i have attached a small part of my excel sheet to it. pls help!!!!!


    I WANT TO FIND THE Highest Active month Which equals To Highest Active Amount PLEASE

    Try this formula to return highest month

    =INDEX(B1:J1,AGGREGATE(15,6,COLUMN(B1:J1)-1/((B2:J8=MAX(B2:J8))),1))

    It Doesnt Work and it shows the month of feb and the highest amount comes from march can you please help me again.!!!!!!

    You highest number is 10 and it is in the month of February. Check your data.

    In column K is a value of 10 (specifically in K7)
    The column is titled Highest Active Amount and emanates from column C which is labelled Feb
    Since AlKey's formula returns Feb (as you've clearly stated) I'd say his formula works perfectly.

    You really need to be careful on this forum throwing around phrase like "It doesn't work".
