Goods in, Goods out spreadsheet help

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a little help here with the above so let me explain a little.

I work in a warehouse's returns department where we repair items and return back to the customer. What I am looking at doing is scanning all parcels that come back to us (We have a barcode with the return reference in) and keep these recorded with the date they came back to us. Now on another sheet when the repair has been done we will scan the repair back out of the building with the date dispatched and the engineers name. finally on a 3rd sheet I would bee looking at having a little bit of a dashboard that would show things like how many items we have in the building, number of items repaired for the day/week/month as well as the number of repairs by engineers and also most crucial for me it will show the oldest outstanding repair. If possible I would even like to take this further and when scanning goods in printing a label with the return number and date of receipt of goods on.

Can anyone begin to help me at all, I don't have a clue where to even begin. I have included what I have currently have although this is nowhere near what vision. Any help would be appreciated.
