    Excel.CurrentWorkbook() not working

    Hello. i'm reading M is for Data Monkey, and they are talking about dynamic named ranges for importing tables. They recommend this formula in the query editor Excel.CurrentWorkbook() but it's not doing anything...it's supposed to list all objects in workbook but no cigarro.

    Have you used:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
    Please Login or Register to view this content.

    And have you done it in appropriate place?:
    In excel ribbon select Data (1) then New Query (2), Empty Query and now in Query editor (3) write the formula (4)

    Screenshot is from national version of excel, but location of controls is the same in English one.

    By the way it does not list all objects. It lists all tables only. If you want to refer to named ranges procedure is a bit more complicated. see for instance https://blog.crossjoin.co.uk/2014/07...n-power-query/
