Convert Single Row of Data in Multiple Cells to a Single Column of Data in Multiple Cells

See attached for what I have and what I'm trying to do.

I have a data set that contains 100s of columns of data in a single row.

I'd like to easily convert those from a single row, into a single column with one piece of data in each row.

I've read through the Forums and can't find anything that can help me. I've also Googled and tried the Transpose function in Paste Special and that's not working.

    Thanks!MultiColumnintoMultiRow.csv

    OK, solved this for myself.

Highlight and then copy all cells.

    Click on a single cell.

Right click, select Down Arrow on Paste Special, select Transpose and voila!

With the example you provided, Transpose works. What's going wrong when you try it with the real data? Is it giving an error message or pasting incorrectly?

I was getting the 'grey box' with all kinds of 'hey dumbass...you're trying to paste onto the same fields you're copy from'.

Once I copied and then clicked off to another cell...I was able to transpose.

    Thanks for posting an answer!
