I am reviewing the Data Validation options I see whole numbers and I see decimals. I want to limit the input to any numeric value, be it an integer or a decimal (e.g., 1 or .95 are both OK). I just want to stop the user if they try to input any alpha character (e.g., none of these are acceptable: "NA", "various", "none", "-").

Is there a custom formula that would allow any numeric input and restrict all alpha input?
