Creating a table of months from fields with a start and finish date

Hi new to this and would like to know if something is possible. Sorry if I get the terminology wrong

I have a workbook with multiple sheets it calculates how many days by a resource type and then costs it, each worksheet has a different team resource requirement.

On the first sheet I have information about the request including the start and completion date from which I also worked out how many months the project will run for

I want on each worksheet to create a table that sets out the months that will be from the start date to the completion date so if the start dates is are 01/01/2015 to 01/06/2015 I want a table with Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun so I can then apply how much resource per moth will be required

I have some of whats needed using match but I can't get the wild card to match Jan to 01/01/2015 and also to set the size of the table

    Any thoughts on this please.

    Hi Trumpy!

As a new member, please take 2-3 minutes to review our rules. There aren't many, and they are all important.

Rule 1 RULES. says that your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem.[/B]

Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

To change a Title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

(This thread should receive no further responses until this moderation request is fulfilled, as per Forum Rule 7)
