Importing Data from one sheet to another using a button

As the title says I'm trying to create a simple productivity tool for my work that will import the daily data input into another sheet to save for our records with the click of a button. Either using the "Record Daily Results" or "Import" buttons on the images attached I want to click those buttons and have them input the data into the correct cell for that day. However I am not so well informed on the creation of custom macros and cannot figure out how to get it to work for the life of me. There are two formats I came up with and a solution to either one would work. Thanks in advance!

Hiii Sorry for late reply..
Just one thing in your excel is to change date format to mm-dd-yyyy in Sheet "Daily Numbers"
Also no need to put Import button to every date Just "Import at any cell" will do the work in attached file..

Wow thank you so much. This is so much further then I ever would have gotten on my own. Only thing is I was testing it and the only date that properly imports the data is 08/18/2015. Every other date returns with #N/A as the result of transporting the data to "Daily Numbers".
