    Red face Calculate time plus percentage Attachement inside

    Hi all,

    I am stuck. I have a form that I am trying to create that will calculate time plus it will calculate the percentage of labor required for a day and will also count down how much labor is left to schedule for the day. I have added the workbook to this thread, I am not sure if I am making sense but hopefully the explanation I put in the workbook will make more sense than I do. Cheers

    Just so I am clear C33 should calculate the hours they add for the day and let them know how many hours they have available before they go over their spending limit of B32. It should do this by calculating the hours and the pay of the employee chosen to work those hours.

    Kalithro,

    That's awesome! Thanks. That definitely works. That helps a lot. Now I just need to figure out how to get it to move the available number by the hours that are scheduled. That way the person writing the schedule can now how many hours to schedule without going over Thanks again

    Something else that might help.
    "=SUM((D$6:D$25)*($X$6:$X$25))"
    Enter that formula in cell B35 and hold down control+shift and then press enter (array formula).

    That will at least tell you how much was spent in a day (hours worked * pay per hour).
