Need help to create a dashboard

Dear all,

I want to create a dash board for my daily sales.

Daily sales will be entered in one sheet for 2015 2014 2013 etc

I want to have a dash board showing sales summary from all the years

for example

If i enter 20/08/2015

Dash board should display the total sales till 20/08/2015 and 20/08/2014 20/08/2013 so on

If i chnage the date to 10/01/2015 then dash board should show sales up to 10/01/2015, 10/01/2014 10/01/2013 etc

Please provide an Excel file with your data. If you simply put your data in your post, we have to create your file from scratch. Please attach an Excel file that has the data for different years on the different sheets as you described.

Providing the formulas to the dashboard data you want will be very easy once we have that. It's just going to be SUM formulas or possibly SUMIF.

Excel sheet attahced. Every time i change the day and the month number the dash board should pick up the total sales up to that day and month of every year

Hi,

Please find attached the file with the solution. Formula will work perfectly if you can have the same data structure in all the sheets. Please make sure A,B,C Columns in all other sheets are exactly like A,B,C column in 2015 (Data is from 8th row till 373 row, by representing the month names in the same format and formula in the A column copied till the last row). Then your formula dashboard sheet will give you the results in the way you are expecting.

Unfortunately my excel skils are not good enough to get for the remaining rows of the dash board as the same amount appear if I copy the formula and paste. Please help to have the complete dash board.

also could you please explain the cell L10 (281-8)and how it works

Thanks for the dash board. I find there is small bug in it. WHen i choose sales as on 1 st Jan it pick up jan 1 and Jan2
