Excel file format icon different

Looks like the thumbnail/preview option in Windows 7 to me. Could also be applicable on future Windows OS.

Go into Folder Options (I think it's Windows Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options)
Go to the View tab
Check "Always show icons, never thumbnails"
Hit Apply

That should change it back to the generic Excel icon on the left.
