Happens to me too. No idea why. During this time, I also notice that I cannot delete those files that still remain in VBA, even after closing it in Excel as it is still being "used". Closing Excel resolves the issue.
I hope someone here can shed more light.
This looks a VBA question to me, so you better ask it in that subforum.

I actually posted the VBA Image as that is the only way to see the instances Excel is opening..
Otherwise its just a plain Excel question hence posted it here..
