Sum unique text/number values given a criteria

Hi,

See the attached file. I have added a helper column to identify the unique values and used sumif to get the totals.

In D2: =IF(COUNTIFS(A$2:A2,A2,B$2:B2,B2)>1,0,1)

In C2: =SUMIF(A$2:A$27,A2,D$2:D$27)
