Formula to re-populate data from one sheet to another

    Hi,

I am hoping I can learn how to write a formula or a macro to help organize our bird species data. The problem is that we enter a bird name in one column and the number seen in a different column and it totals at the bottom. The date changes each day, as do the birds seen and the number counted. We end up having to enter the data twice (once to the report that gets sent out and once again to the sheet that keeps a running total for every day).

Is there a formula that will let us enter it once and then that data will automatically populate the correct day, bird species and number seen on a different sheet?

I have seen additional questions on this forum that were very similar and the answer was a macro. I would have attempted it, if I knew how to get started on a macro.

    I appreciate any help!
