Trying to create an automatic delivery note

I've been trying to create a system for taking orders for products that I sell. Basically I have created a sheet with products and a column in which you can type in the number of products being ordered. This then calculates the prices etc. that all works grand. I am having trouble though when I am trying to create an automatic delivery note in another sheet. I want the sheet to automatically fill out the product name and the number but only of the products ordered.

I believe I can do this using nested IF functions but I feel there must be a much easier was to do it as I plan on bringing in much bigger numbers of products.

Can anyone be any help? Cheers

I have attached the sheets as I have them now.

Re: Trying to create an automatic delivery note

    Hi there,

Take a look at the attached workbook and see if it does what you need.

It uses one "helper column" (which may be hidden) on the Delivery Note worksheet, and a few Named Ranges on the Products worksheet.

If you're going to be adding/deleting products on a regular basis it would probably be a good idea to make those Named Ranges dynamic so that they automatically adjust to the number of items (rows) they contain.

Hope this helps - please let me know how you get on.

    Regards,

    Greg M

    GregM,

That is exactly what I'm looking for! I will be adding different products and ranges but I'm sure I now know how to work things out.

    Really really appreciate the help!

    Thank you,

    Don
