Hello,

I am trying to streamline an Excel template used to create Proposals at my job. My manager wanted me to check to see if there is a way we can have the desired currency symbols automatically populate the correct cells in one tab in correlation with another tab on the Excel workbook. For example. Tab 1 is for "Parameters". Tab 2 is "Detailed Price List". Tab 3 is Quote Content US. Tab 4 is Quote Content Non-US (meaning Non-US currencies). The way we currently have the template set up is that what is selected in Tab 1 carries over into Tabs 2, 3, and 4. Tab 2 is the actual cost breakdown of whatever is selected in Tab 1.

Now, what shows in Tabs 3 and 4 are the Quote based on the pricing in Tab 2 and the options selected in Tab 1. Tab 3 is in US Dollars and Tab 4 is the currency exchange tab that is in correlation with Tab 3, but at the exchange rate. We have the Excel workbook set up so that Tab 4 automatically calculates based on the exchange rate selected in Tab 1. What I am trying to figure out is if there is a way for the cost info in Tab 4 to automatically show the desired currency symbol without having to manually select the cells and change the currency symbol. Is there a way to set up the Excel workbook so that all of the costs in Tab 4 automatically convert to the correct desired exchange rate symbol? Be it Euros, Lira, Etc.?

To further elaborate. Say you open the Excel template workbook to work on creating a new Proposal Quote. In Tab 1, the selected Currency is Euros. So Tab 3 shows at US Dollars (Which it should) and Tab 4 (The exchange rate tab) also shows as US Dollars. Now the costs in Tab 4 did calculate correctly based on the exchange rate on Tab 1, but the currency symbols are still in US Dollars. Is there a way to have the costs in Tab 4 populate automatically to show Euros instead of US Dollars?

I wasn't sure if manually selecting the cells and changing the currency symbol was the only way to have the correct currency showing in tab 4.
