Printing underneath when columns exceed page width

I have a spreadsheet that has approximately 50 columns but is only 7 rows, is there a way to be able to print the columns that exceed the page width underneath so that the entire spreadsheet is printing on one page? for example, columns A-G print across the top with the 5 rows under it...then columns H-N automatically show underneath with the 5 rows under it and so on. Right now, we are copying and pasting...Because there are so few rows, the big guy is trying to save on paper by allowing the columns that exceed page width to print right under the first set on the same page. Can this be done?

Re: Printing underneath when columns exceed page width

    Hi aehman,

Unfortunately, Excel doesn't provide any way to do this. I'm sure it would be possible to write some VBA to move the cells into a one-page-printable print area, but from a bit of quick research I've done, it doesn't look simple and certainly beyond me.
There is a possible work-around with formulae, but it will only be worth doing if it's always the same spreadsheet (or a copied/amended/saved one) as it takes longer to set up than the copy and paste would.

The attached file uses OFFSET to copy the later columns into the first 7 columns - you can then set the print area to print from there. The copy is dynamic - if you change K3, D11 will also change, so you can continue to do all the work in the first 7 rows, leaving the lower section just for printing.
I've noted the formulae used for each section; hopefully you'll see the pattern, as you'll probably need to amend them slightly to take account of different column widths, plus the paper size and margins you want.

    I hope this is useful.
