    Post Conditional format-top 10%-excel calculates

    Good Day all

    Can somebody explain, how the excel calculates or highlights cells when the % column on condition increases?
    Attached a pdf table for reference. Here If I choose-Home->Conditional formatting-> Top/Bottom Rules - > Top 10%

    The figure 10 got highlighted when 19% is selected, while 9 also got selected when increased and lastly 8 got highlighted when increased to 30%.

    You're better off posting a spreadsheet than a picture (pdf).
    That way we can manipulate the figures.
