Changing number of days in field by number of days that pass

I would like to know what formula to use to get the column for DAYS UNFILLED to automatically go up each day for the CRAFT. For example, the COOK for GREEN FROG has been open for 10 days as of 7/2/2015. How would I make it change to 11 for 7/3/2015. I would like for the person to put the date that the UNFILLED happen and it calculates based on today's date.

It might be easier if you had a "start" date for each item.

Insert a column for the Start Date (column D for this example) then in the Days Unfilled column F for this example, enter in F7.

    Newdoverman,
    Not the OP, but....
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I tried using Today(),(to help OP out) it would return a very odd date, like 1/10/1900. It's probably because I am doing something wrong.
My thought was to add a start date column (as you suggested) like column A then use....

Format as GENERAL and the date will become a number.

Yea, I just noticed it was formatted as Date instead of general, my bad. Rookie mistake. Thank you
