Is there an easy way to transfer the macros (in Personal.xlsb) in Excel on my old computer to a new computer with a new Excel?
Here's one approach...
• Record a simple macro on the new PC...indicating that you want it in your PERSONAL.xlsb file.
(Excel will create the file for you, when done recording)
• Close Excel
• Find the new file in the new PC
• Copy the "old" PERSONAL.XLSB and paste it over the "new" PERSONAL.XLSB.
• Open Excel
Is that something you can work with?
Yes, just make a copy of the file itself so it isn't lost. Place that file in service as is on your new computer.
