How to remove extra spaces in a cell

I am struggling with data to remove the spaces from the cells, can any one suggest to me how I remove the spaces from the cells? Is there any formula to remove the spaces from the cells.

Hi,

Try TRIM(), this will remove the extra spaces at the beginning and the end.

you can click in a cell with the spaces and copy the space, highlight the column with them in, go to find and paste in the "spaces", then leaving replace empty, hit replace all and that should take care of it without any formulas.

Also check that they are in fact spaces not char(160) which is usually what happens when data gets imported from web sites.
