COnditinal Formatting

I want to set conditional formatting on the column G based on data in Column I in the attached sheet. It should be like:
>1 - Green
<1 to >-90 - Yellow
<-90 - Red
Empty cell - Red

I can set it on the same column but how to set on a different column I want help in.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
It is not possible to refer to a different column when using the icons.
But looks a this link for a workaround solution :

Re: COnditinal Formatting

why not just apply the formatting to the 2 columns with the dates, and use "use formula" rule?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Re: COnditinal Formatting

Sure

1. highlight the range you want to apply the conditional formatting to (=$G$4:$G$11 in your sample)
2. on the home tab, styles, select CF
3. select new rule, select use formula
4. enter=G4-90>$G$2 format fill GREEN

Repeat 3 and 4 with...
=G4-90<$G$2 format fill YELLOW
Repeat 3 and 4 again with...
=G4<$G$2 format fill RED
