Hi all, am having some trouble with excel 2013, im hoping someone would be able to help.
I have a table that has blank cells scattered across, but need only the values. So I copied and pasted this table elsewhere by using the Paste spacial > values process. With this table now being values only, i needed to get a count of the amount of times non-blank values appear in each row, bit the COUNTA function is counting all cells in range. baffled by this, i selected the entire table (the one with values only) to determine which cells are empty and which arent by following F5 > Special > blanks process. This in theory should highlight all blank cells, but does not, and i receive the message "No cells were found". But, if i was to click on an empty cell and press DELETE, this cell could then be recognised as Blank. so maybe these blank cells have spaces in them right?, no! I tried looking for strings and any sort of spaces in them, but they are completely empty, but not being acknowledged as such.
Dont know what's happening, it very frustrating, could someone please help?
Thank you all in advance.
