Hi,
I have the following formula which returns a set of hyperlinks from data it searches through.
=HYPERLINK((IFERROR(VLOOKUP(D5,A2:C91,3,FALSE),"""")))
Unfortunately, when I click on the links, it says "Cannot open the specified file."
Thanks!

Try this approach (only options 1 and 3 for cell A1 are "live").

Hi Glenn,
Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately, my links are not weblinks.
Essentially (this is all on one sheet).
I have in Column C-Index
C1:C27 are hyperlinks to other worksheets within the same workbook.
The search engine filters through the data:
=HYPERLINK((IFERROR(VLOOKUP(D5,A2:C91,3,FALSE),"""")))
The search results are hyperlinks and when I click on them, it gives me the error ""Cannot open the specified file."
Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks!
OK. Same sheet, but a different approach to link to other sheets in same book...
Hi Glenn,
Thanks for the new sheet.
It's close to what I need.
Essentially, where you have your G columns, mine is all hyperlinks.
Where you have your Click button (A2) is where I have my search result.
I would like A2 to show the name of the sheet (Ex. Sheet2!a1) and than be able to click on it and go on that page. Thank you!
?? So what do you have in (for example) G1?
Hi Glenn,
Essentially, I have two problems as shown in the attached.
1. In Column H, I want to reference the rows in CPT2015 Tab (B7-B9). I want it to work as a link and not just show the text. Right now, Rows H5:H7 just shows the text. The resulting data would be my index of tabs/files.
2. After creating the index, I want the search engine to display the results from filtering through the resulting index data.
Right now, I hard-coded the Index of Projects (Column C). After the results are displayed, I want it to work as a hyperlink, but it shoots off the error ("Cannot open the specified file.").

Thank you for your help.
Hi Glenn,
My apologies. I just saw your previous post. I think my error is because of the search engine created.
I am interested in just having the search results in hyperlink form work if my data is hyperlinked on the same tab.

Please see attached. Thank you so much for your help.
A random guess...
8. Don't cross-post without a link. Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. You'll find people are disinclined to respond to cross-posts because they may be wasting their time solving a problem that has been solved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post. Expect cross-posts without a link to be closed.
