Need to Determine Training Room Availability based off a training plan

Hello Excel Forum!

I have a Training plan that maps out our upcoming classes. We have 4 rooms that are available and two time slots for each room, AM and PM. I am trying to create a graphical view of which rooms are available for any give date and time.

I've attached a spreadsheet if what I am trying to accomplish that might help explain things a bit better. Basically, on the row axis, I have the Rooms, and column axis I have the dates. I need a 1 or 0 in the grid, 1 being there is a class ongoing and 0 being no class. That way I can use conditional formatting for the visual reference.
