Little League Baseball help

My daughter plays little league baseball. This year her team consist of a few above average players (have played before) some that are average and even more that are just new/poor to the game. I wish to maximize the best and average players to carry the newer/poor players. Is there a way to create a line-up of players and assign a number to the players (#1 Hits good, #2 hits average, #3 hits poor) and have the spreadsheet place the lineup based of the number (1,2,3) assigned to them to, spread the best and average hitters out maximize the chance to have the bases loaded and have a power hitter chosen to bat next.

I would think you would need some averages to determine the likelihood of getting on base. Not excel related but as a coach you want to maximize the amount of times your good hitters bat so in a lineup of 9 players(3 of each) I would think 1,2,1,1,2,2,3,3,3 would be best. You start trying to sneak in a poor hitter you will end up having that hitter be the last out more times then not because of the uncertainty that baseball brings.

I was thinking a order of 1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3. With maybe adding a catagorey 4 for the #1 player that improves. by watching the kids bat at practice, assigning a value to them, giving them a better value when they improve. Their new coach has never played the sport, has never coached the sport and is completely lost. I want to show here where her what order her hitters should be in.
