Hi All, I tried to use the array format for the date functions such as YEAR, MONTH, EOMONTH.
It seemed that they are not applicable. For example, DATE(YEAR(A1:A10),1), with array applied Ctrl+Shift+Enter will produce unexpected results![]()

Are you trying to accomplish a specific task? Perhaps give some details of what you want to calculate.
Year and other date functions can normally accept array inputs....but the result will also be an array so you either need to enter the formula in a range in excel to return that whole array, or use the resultant array within another function that can handle arrays.
Audere est facere
Interesting. It does work for date functions. Thank you.
