Sorting data

Hi All

I'm having a nightmare Monday and could really do with some help... or a hug
I have been given the sheet I have attached and asked to sort the data into the correct columns... simple!
BUT
I have also been asked to put in place a way of sorting this automatically. To be honest I have no idea where to even start.
The normal functions that I use in excel (sumif, vlookup, match, index) all need set data to reference...
If anyone out there knows how to do this I would really appreciate the help before it makes me bald

Thanks in advance
Adam

Care to share what the correct columns would be?
You should post a sheet with the original sheet and how it should look when sorted.

Re: Sorting data

Could you show a sample of what you want it to look like?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: Sorting data

Hi
Sorry about being so vague about what I require.
The data in columns F-I comes in muddled from a customer and we go through a daily process of manually sorting it into the correct columns.
I have attached another copy of the sheet. The data in green has been sorted and is displaying how it should but the yellow data is muddled as we receive it.
What I am hoping to do is have something that will sort the data into the correct column... even the ability to look at the data and return if it's equal to a 6 digit number or return if it is formatted as currency would be a huge help
Thanks againBook2.xlsx
