Adding commands to the ribbon in excell 2013.. Highlighting the entire sheet

    Morning all.

I want to add a particular command to the excel ribbon ( I am using excel 2013).
Currently if I wish to highlight the entire sheet, I move my cursor to the far left upper corner.

IS there a command that I could place in the ribbon to achieve the above task ?

you can press ctrl +A twice to achieve this

    Ctrl+A

    Selects the entire worksheet.

If the worksheet contains data, Ctrl+A selects the current region. Pressing Ctrl+A a second time selects the entire worksheet.

the one in excel is broken

if you really need a button there to click you can create a add-in using vba and put it on the ribbon

Surely it's easier to press the select all button top left of sheet that hunt down a new control in the ribbon?

If you use a personal.xlsm you could write a macro and assign button to QAT
