    Time sheet woes

this spreadsheet is supposed to check how much time a person is late for the month. Late is after 8:15am. SO i thought basic countif but because the time in and time out are both on the same row it became a bit complicated. So i used the COLUMN function to try to establish an array that would only feed the pertinent column , which is every other, into the formula. But I cant seem to get the array right it ends up reap bare zeros.
Help or advice would be greatly appreciated. so count if greater than 8:15 am and that would give me how many time this one person was late.

Note that you have a space character at the end of all your "IN" column labels. The formula above takes that into account.

Convinced by TMS that I was in error so removed original message.

It is a matter of "definition" I think

Google search on Time Sheet Woes...... "About 637,000 results (0.31 seconds)" ....a lot of reading but it could be worse

Actually, I only got About 418,000 results (0.31 seconds). BUT ... if I enclose "Time Sheet Woes" in quotes, I only get About 170 results (0.65 seconds). Both searches include this thread.

Ask questions. Answer questions. Seriously, I learned most of what I know about Excel on this very forum. If you take some time every day to read through the posts here, answer what questions you can, follow the solutions on ones you can't, you will improve greatly.

There are also all sorts of blogs and tutorial websites out there that will go in great detail on specific tools and methods. I like Chandoo, Excel Hero, and the great and powerful Google.

All it takes is a willingness to dive into a problem and not stop looking until you find a solution. Answering questions here will introduce you to all sorts of real-world issues that people encounter.
