    alt enter in pivot tables

Hello. I'm trying to change the format in a row label in a pivot table. I try to press alt-enter to add a line but it keeps resetting. WHy?

Re: alt enter in pivot tables

After you use Alt+Enter, make sure you still use Wrap Text..
    Cheers!

Re: alt enter in pivot tables

@NeedForExcel - I am not sure if that works. Can you please test it?

@Amma - Follow the below steps for Wrap Text to work in Pivot Table

Select Cell you wanted to Wrap text-->Go to Pivot Table Tools (Analyze)-->Action-->Select-->Click on "Enable Section"

After following above steps, now do the wrap text and it will work.

Let me know if it works.

    Thanks,

Re: alt enter in pivot tables

If your Original Source Column Header Is entered with Alt+Enter combination then surely You can Show it in multi line (In Pivot Table) by just giving tick mark to Wrap Text.
