Man's Mind Stretched to New Dimensions Never Returns to Its Original Form
Hi alansidman,
I played around with the INDIRECT function for a bit and its about have of what I need. Let me tray and explain this again. I have a data set of thousands of points, sorted by time. Each time point has a set of five values associated with it, speed, position and the like. I have a step of 25 top time points I need to their values (speed, position...ect) pulled out into a separate table. I have the row number of where each of the 25 values occur and am looking for a way to set a cell equal to a given column and row reference. Such as $AA$1234. However I have 12 sets of data and need multiple columns for each of the top 25 time points. So I am looking to a way to sub in the value of a cell( the row number) and a given column. So $AA$(row number stored in cell A3). Does that clarify what I am after? I had thought about use a macro, however I am on a mac and it doesn't support that function.
